Needs a better database of food items

Very slick UI and impressive features are seriously let down by a lack of a more complete food item database.

I like it.

Its been pretty helpful so far and Ive been using for a month or so. Fingers crossed that it continues down that road.

Best app of the year!

I have been wanting to try new healthier ingredients. I also wanted to be suggested what to cook based on my preferences. This app does all of that. For that Id give this app 5 stars. However, I wish you could save to favorite recipes and them add those to a later days menu. I also wish the grocery list combined ingredients for multiple recipes. I have to go through and tally ingredients manually without this simple feature. For those two reasons Im knocking off a star.

I love it!

Im a vegetarian and its very hard for me to keep track of my meals at points with school and sports, this app helps me sooo much its motivating to keep my diet healthy! I recommend this to anyone whos looking for a way to diet:-)

Almost perfect

What it does is great. I love that it just tells me what to eat and how to make it; as someone who is not good at feeding myself this is just what I need. However, I live alone and dont have the time or money to cook fancy meals every day, so I wish it took leftovers and food for a week into account. I wasted $40 on the ability to plan ahead when I only needed to plan for one day, and just stretch that for a week.

Confusing

Not super user friendly. Having issues navigating it. Theres a subscription to pay for. I dont know if its to continue using the app (in which I just paid $4 for). Confusing!

One of the best nutrition apps

Expansive database with individualized food recommendations.

Search Update makes logging difficult

Ever since the search protocol had been updated, finding most things I eat is very difficult. Barcode scanning no longer works either; the camera freezes, and the app resumes seconds later saying it couldnt find the product. Ive tried multiple items from multiple sources; it ends up suggesting pizza for most things I type too for some reason. I love how it was and Im not sure when it will be fixed but I hope its soon; its hard to find a good nutrition tracker

The most perfect app ever

You should get this, its the best

Review

Seems to be a good app. I need help keeping track of a good healthy meal and amounts to eat, etc. Im hoping this does what I need.

Fantastic

Loves the way it extrapolates so much data from such an easy & simple input method. Falls short of lifesum in terms of football database & inability to record water intake to HealthKit.

Wow. Amazing app

The best nutrition app hands down! Comprehensive, robust and easy to use. Ive used many nutrition apps before, but this app is of a league of its own. The Eat Out map is superb!

Horrible horrible horrible

I bought this app for a year with the intention of meal planning. The ONLY recipes on this are recipes that take a really long time to make with too many ingredients. With this planner I would be spending so much at the grocery store that I could have meals mailed to me. This app has a good start, but it needs so much work. It needs a recipe bank based on time, complication, what food you might want to incorporate that would generate recipes from low to high difficulty. I set my tastes and this does not reflect it whatsoever. Half of the foods I would never eat in my life. I would love to change this review to a 5 stars, but much change would need to come for that. I would also love a refund.

Better than I imagined!

Simple, easy to use and most of the recommended recipes taste amazing!!!

Science based Nutrition - love it

What a professional approach to nutrition

So far, impressed

I am just now setting it up with goals, allergies, likes and dislikes. A little confusing but most apps are to me until I get comfortable with where things are and what all I can do. Check back in a month for an update, but if the description is accurate, I expect nothing less than great things!!

Likin it

I downloaded several apps to try and this one made the cut for ease of use, interface with Fitbit and menu planning/grocery list features
